Does abyone know if any good reporting services training suppliers in the midlands, preferably close to Birmingham?

Also SQL Server 2005 and Integration Services.

Cheers.

Dunno about training courses but you could do worse than getting a copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server Reporting Services - I find that to be a very good all round source of info - from setup and permissions to reports, scheduling and delivery

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

There is a course that I have my eye on called 'SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Application Development'. Link is here.

This includes Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration Services. It sounds like you are in the UK, but you may be able to find a course that follows this type of model over there?

I would second xlbo's recommendation of Hitchhiker's Guide. Despite the fact that we never ended up implementing 2000's reporting services I found that version of the book extremely good, and helpful in making our decision.

Good Luck,

Alex

Ignorance of certain subjects is a great part of wisdom

I've got a couple of decent books etc but the boss is looking to send a few people on some courses but she wants local providers.

Cheers for the tips though.

And yes Birmingham UK not US.

Not seen anything good around here - I am in Notts (UK) and pretty much self taught. Have been looking for decent courses for a while.....
