Reporting Services on a Named Instance - Web Interface issue

I have a name instance of SS2K5 Reporting Services (x64).

Instance name is SS2K5_DBA.

Thus I have default web sites in IIS showing as Reports$SS2K5_DBA and ReportServer$SS2K5_DBA.

RS has been configured and is showing all is fine (all green

When I try to enter ...

http://localhost/Reports$SS2K5_DBA/

OR

http://localhost/ReportServer$SS2K5_DBA/,

I receive the 404 error:

I have installed the ASP.Net with the command of

aspnet_regiis -i

and all went well.

What am I missing?

Try the following:

1) Type:

http://localhost/Reports$SS2K5_DBA/Pages/Folder.aspx

2) If that doesn't work, I had to add my port name to the hostname (our SQL Server is set up virtually), like:

http://localhost:8081/Reports$SS2K5_DBA/Pages/Folder.aspx

And the port number would be the port SQL Server is working out of (like 1433)?

Actually, I don't think you need the "$SS2K5_DBA"

Try typing:

http://localhost/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx

- or -

http://localhost:8081/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx.

I'm not sure where I got the 8081 port # from. It might have been from my system admin. I'll have to look into it.

Looking back over your post, I think you need:

http://SS2K5_DBA/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx

Not sure?

Did you install this locally or on a network server?
Is this an instance of another database?

We have a development server with SRS on it that I've never been quite able to figure out how to get to.
