The Hitchhikers guide is IMO the best book around at the moment - probably a lot in there you don't need right now but it starts from the basics and moves up....well written and has some welcome comedy as well !!

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
