Reporting Services - Exporting Footer to Excel

In my SSRS reports my footers have a red background and white text. When I export to excel the footer only shows up when I print, but the footer has a white background and black text.

When I have a header and export to an excel document, it exports just as it appears in the SSRS report.

Is there anyway to get the footer to appear in excel as it does in SSRS? Exports to PDF are fine.
