Reporting Problem (beginner.....)

I have a table containing name,company,first child, second child,third child,fourth child

how do i make the following report work -

name company children

joe festons john
david
lucy

harry smiths

rose festons monique
susan

sorry about formatting but hope you get the idea - some people have up to 4 kids and others have none so i want the kids listed beneath the adult

I suggest that you create a child table and have a record per child in it. This will make creating queries and reports easier.

tblParents
ParentID
FName
LName
...

tblChildren
ParentID
FName
LName
Gender
...
