Reporting off Lotus Notes is very slow.

Does anyone else run reports off a Lotus Notes database? I am using the latest version of the odbc (3) and have quite a few calculated fields but the report are very slow to run.

My ACL level in the database is manager so I have the best level of security to the database.

I do not have any problems reporting off other data sources so I don't think there are any problems with my setup here.

Any ideas anybody? Or is it just a Notes thing?

Can you do a daily transfer of lotus notes data to another database and report off of that? I do know of this being done successfully with Lotus Notes to Oracle. CP
