A customer has a BCM50 Rel 3 and was upgraded to a 6.0. It has been patched with the latest patches.The customer has had issues with RCC since the upgrade.The customer emoved the previous version and reloaded it onto the server..When it gets to the RCC IVU and goes to get the realtime data from the bcm it comes back server busy..Any thoughts.I couldn't find docs related to this question..
Thanks

I can't speak for the BCM 50 at release 3, but I've had major problems with the latest RCC for the BCM 400 V4. It looks as if the latest RCC issue has been modified with RCC monitor as I have noticed a banner appears for a split second.

Also when I've uninstalled it, I find I can't reload it again due to some compatibility with Office etc.

I know only use earlier desktop and system patches.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I echo David's point. I've been having alot of issue with RCC over the last 12 months.

I haven't experienced your specific issue, but have had a number of issues with R6.

Have you fully patched it ?

@Mandingo169:

The "Server Busy" message comes from output of the CCRS App Server. The most common cause of this is 2 RCCs trying to communicate with 1 BCM, although there may be some other issue with the hardware.

@firebirdscrambler:

Assuming when you mean the latest RCC (for the BCM 400), you are talking about version 2.45 (as opposed to 2.4)...
The compatibility with Office would be the component OWC11 - Office 2003 Web Components. This is shipped inside SQL Server 2005, which is the database used by this version of RCC.

Thanks for all your responses...I had to reload the software again and it finally worked..
