I have a report that has a group in it to repeat and filter out duplicats I need to have a signature line on the last page of the report but the report footer seams to be linked to the group and when I Place the signature line in the report footer it places the text right under the grouped infroemation. not at the bottom of the last page . I cant put it in the page footer because I only want it to show up on the last page of the report. One more thing the signature line is not just text. Names are populated form a table and then people sign next to there name.

Did you not post this before elsewhere and did the solution not work?

Have fun!)

Yea the solution was for text only I need to have more than just text in the footer. I have to have the names populate from a field.

Just replace the "Your Text" part with the name of the field:

Code:
=IIf([Pages]=[Page],[Your Field],"")

Have fun!)

ok thanks agin. If I put the field in the footer should it act as if it were grouped and filter out duplites. Were do I put the code?

P.S. You have been a great help and I just wanted to thank you for every thing. This is like your third time helping me.

Basically, if the name is to be in the footer, how is the name chosen? What I mean is, if it comes from a field, presumably all the records returned by the underlying query return the same name, in which case the name should only appear once. I haven't tried it though so I'm not sure what will happen.

ok cool. were should I place the code?

Put it in the ControlSource property of a text box.

Have fun!)

I Placed it in the controlSource and could not get the text to even go down to the acctual footer I want to place the information In the group footer.

Oh, I thought you wanted it in the Report Footer. It will not work in the Group Footer.

Have fun!)

I want it in the report footer. I just cant get the report footer to appear only the group footer. well it says report footer but when it prints the report it goes under neath the group footer. any ideas?

Put it in the page footer - this makes sure that it appears at the bottom of the page. The condition that is included in the statement makes it only show on the last page of the report.

Have fun!)
