Report with params hangs in infoview

Hi,
I Have a report that uses to date param (startdate & enddate) and passes them to an stored procedure. The report works fine in CR and will also run with the defaults when scheduled. BUT... when I run it on demand thru 'infoview', (any viewer) the page open and asks for new prarm values, I can watch the SQL run on my SQL 2000 server. But the viewer never closes the param window and the report never appears.
