Report with multple columns in CR 8.5

Hi all,

I'm working on a multi-columned report that needs the group header as well as the detail to span multiple columns. The format would be similar to a newspaper with the headers and details going down and then across and the headers not necessarily appearing on the same line in each column. I know how to make the detail section span multiple columns by checking the Format with multiple columns for the section. But apparently in 8.5 this feature applies only to the details section and not the Group section as in version 9.0

Any help would be appreciated.

In 8.0 you can go to format section->details->and check "format with multiple columns," click on layout, and at the bottom check "format groups with multiple columns," so I'm betting that is true for 8.5 as well. Or am I missing the point here?
