Report with Multiple Max number from 3 tables HELP!!

Hello everyone,
Here is a link to what my tables look like and what my query currently is giving me. Below the table and query is a sample of what I need the query to give me.

I need to somehow create a query to give me the most recent records for a particular Audit and Action Plan. I have two primary keys in the Master file Audit_Number and Action_Plan_Number because you can have multiple plans per Audit. We get responses on the Current_status of the audits multiple times and make multiple Updates to the file throughout the process. But I need information from all three tables in my report but only the most recent response and most recent update from each table. Currently it is giving me duplicate records for each Imported Response and each Update.

Modify your query into a totals query, group by audit and action plan, select max for the date fields to get the latest response.
