report with 2 queries asking for the same parameters

I have created 2 queries from a main query. These 2 queries filters various records from field [service] and the parameter is the [customer id].

I've created a report for each query and created a Main report and sub report with the links from customer id.

How do I prevent the new report from asking me the same parameter [customer id] twice?

Please tell me what my questions are.

No doubt, some whiz has experienced the '2 parameter request' and could answer this from just the symptom.

But it would be a good idea to supply some information - it would definitely increase the possibility of a solution.
