There are 2 parts to this post.
1. I want to view my CR8 reports online using Crystal Report Viewer. When I access the report it continualy prompts me for a username and password. I have this information passed in the URL (along with a parameter).
I am an administrator on my network and local box.
I installed CR8 under my login.
I created the database on the SQL Server.
I created the report I am trying to access.
The datasource of the crystal report is stored procedure. The connection is ODBC. Any ideas why I am not being authenticated?
2. Users will access these reports through our intranet. They are authenticated using Windows Integrated Authentication and Digest (for MACs). Is there a way I can pass this along to the report viewer so the users will not have to re-enter their password? Is there a way to encrypt the query strings to the password is not in clear text?
