Report text box prints on 2 pages

Hi -

I am stuck. I have a report with a header with several text boxes and 2 text boxes in the detail section. The header works fine but the detail section produces 12 records and then moves the balance of the records to page 2. There is plenty of room on page one but I can not get it to print there.

Any guidance/ suggestions appreciated

Sounds like you have whitespace in a section like the page footer that gives the appearance that nothing is being printed when really it is. To fix you would move everything in the offending section up and then move the bottom of it up to get rid of the white space below.

Thanks- yes there was a Footer with white space causing the problem. I had tried to get rid of it before but could not chage it's Height property. What worked was deleting it altogether.

Glad you solved it but usually deleting the section is not necessary. Below are a few things you might try first next time...

Usually expanding the section so I can see what is hitting the bottom and has either a height of 0 or near it will solve it. Sometimes I resort to lassoing (selecting a rectangle around) the bottom little bit of the section and hitting delete.
