In my application, I want to generate a dataset, which i will display in a report. And I want to make this report available to be opened in Word so the layout could be changed without doing it in ie. visual studio.net.

Is this possible by using crystal reports?? Is it possible at all??? Plz help...

You want to edit Crystal Reports in Word?

You can export a report to Word and then your users can do whatever they like with the ouput.

Or you might link reports into a Word document, but the user would still require Crystal Reports to edit it.

And you can pass a dataset to a report.
