As part of our SLA, we are supposed to provide proof of the uptime stats on the SX2000. What is the simplest way to extract a summary from the SX2000 system giving availability for the previous month?

Thanks.

You could use the maint logs.
However if you have a redundant system then it will switch processors every night which might look like a reboot.
maint logs should provide around a month's logs

Didn't think the SX2000 had a summary of uptime. Like you say the SX2000 is most likely switching activity each night so you basically see each plane reboot when it switches activity to the other plane.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

Any chance you have Enterprise Manager, or some other NMS, looking at it? Your best bet would be to use the logs from that system, because as has been mentioned, the activity switches in the maint logs on the 2K will look odd to the untrained eye.
