Report studio with prompts to be saved as excel WITH PROMPTS

Hi all,
I need to convert an excel report with Filters/Prompts to be developed in reportnet, run from there and automated to be saved as excel. Is there any way to run a report studio report and save it as excel with the prompts/filters. So that when you open the excel reort you see the prompt box and users can select values.
I do not know if this is possible at all or not. If it is , please let me know.

Hi shwetabh,
You can schedule a report to generate the output in Excel but I don't think so that you can generated an Excel output which will prompt users to provide filter values.

Expanding on devcog solution, with a scheduled report it is saved on the cognos server, this would have to be downloaded to a shared directory for your users where your excel with the prompts would read it in through a macro. I haven't found a solution to saving it directly to a network drive from a scheduled report or a way to have a prompt selection box created in the saved excel. Might be a way to do it if you have the SDK.
