To be honest I have no idea.
I asked a similar question during fasttrack (more general , about migrating impromptu reports to Cognos8) and was told that the minimum exerxise would be to check each and every calculated object.
If you ask me, there have simply too many changes between version 7 products and the Cognos8 suite. We're more into complete rebuilds than migrations..

That's what I'm doing as well, but I'm growing tired of the try and retry method of coding when trying to figure out how there functions work. Why don't they just adopt JavaScript or VBSCript, plenty of documentation on those languages.
