I have a sub report that is getting numbers from a query and I am trying to set the text boxes so that they only use 2 decimal points. I have set them that way and they are still using up to four. I have Access 2000. Is there a way to format the numbers in the SQL statement?? Should this be working?? Thanks!

Did you check the formatting all the way back to the tables? I've run into this before with A2K, and even though I selected two D's on the report, if the query or the table were set at auto, or more D's, it would not print 2D's.

Like I said, this is a quotient that is produced inside the SQL statement. e.g. A/B as [Number I want to only have 2 decimal points]. So there isn't a table that I could check. I guess I'm out of luck eh?

Figured it out. Under format, I just select "Fixed" and had it set to 2 decimal points. That did it. I don't understand why just setting it to 2 decimal points didn't force it to use only 2 though.
