Hello,

I am trying to get several reports to start out on a cover page and then if they are larger than the allowed space continue to the second page taking up the whole width of the page. Does anyone know how to accomplish that task.

Thanks in advance

I expect someone could help if you provided more information. What have you tried and why aren't you satisfied. You can spread your text boxes and other controls across the width of your page however you want.

The front page of the report has 2 sections on the top of the page that use up only have of the width as they have to be next to each other. The one on the right could have lots of information that might need to spill on to the second page and then it is able to use the whole page width.

Then there is a section below that takes up the whole width and might need to go to the second page under the first report that could or could not spill over. Then there is another subreport that is under that that will only be on the front page.

Everything that I have tried does not allow report 2 to come across without pushing report 5 off of the page.

Let me know if that makes any sense to you.

You should refer to report areas by the section name like Report Header, Page Header, Detail, Report Footer, ... You should also make liberal use of "subreport" when referencing subreports.

I doubt there is anyway to have the same object (assuming it's a subreport) take up different positions and in different sections with different widths within the same report. I expect you would need to split your subreports and stick them where needed.

If you can't figure out how to do this in Access, you might be better off using Word with automation.
