For some reason, now when I try to preview my report I get a message box that states..."The section width is greater than the page width, and there are no items in the additional space, so some pages may be blank". And when printed, I get 2 pages with the second page blank. I checked page settings and made sure margins are correct and fall within the page width. No text or boxes fall outside the margins. Does anyone have an idea what needs to be done to correct this?

Something must be. Open the Report in Design View. Make sure the width of the Report + the LeftMargin + the RightMargin don't equal more than your total available, usually 8 1/2" for Portrait.

The width of your report isn't defined by the right most control but the width of the report (white area in design view). Check the width value in the property sheet for the report. As the previous reply states add this to the left & right margins to get the actual width. This has to be < 8.5 for letter portrait.

Sometimes controls (esp lines) can be hard to find. Try reducing the width of the report by dragging the right edge in and if it unexpectedly gets stuck you might have a line hard up against a section break.

Good Luck

For landscape I found that 9" is the maximum before this message is generated.
