Report Runs Differently On Different Computers (both using Citrix)

I have a report (Crystal XI) that is only run about every 15-20 days, ran properly on 3/22/11, and was found to abort with an "failed to retrieve data from the database" error (Database Vendor Code: 1205) sometime last week.

This report includes data separated into over 100 company groups, and is run including all companies.

Testing on my computer, I found I would not receive the error and would get data if I restricted the report to only one company (no matter the size of the company's data). If I added a second company, I would receive the error again.

Using the computer of the user who usually runs the report, I found that her computer could run with two companies included, but would error when a third was added.

This seemed odd to me since we're both accessing the program and data through Citrix (it should be processing in same environment for both computers, right?).

Has anyone experienced something similar, and found a solution? I'm not sure where to start.

I don't know Citrix: I've only ever used Crystal with SQL. But I have got different results depending on File > Report Options or File > Options. Try checking if these differ.

I'm not familiar with this issue, but just googling it, it appears it may have to do with attempts to access the data while the data is being updated resulting in "deadlock".
