I want to do some labels for the products in my supermarket. I have a dbf file where i am extracting the data; through a simple query the problem is on the report display part.
What i want to do is to print on A3 page a grid like this:

Product 1 Product 2 Product 3 Product 4

Product 5 Product 6 Product 7 Product 8

Product 9 Product 10 Product 11 Product 12

But all i have succeeded to do is a grid like this:

Product 1

Product 2

Product 3

Product 4

..........

The problem is that whether is possible to define a repeating region on both the horizontal and vertical axis.

Have anyone experienced similar situations previously?
Thanks.

try this...

open your report in design view
go to File - Page Setup
go to the Columns tab
there is a section called grid settings
set the number of columns to 4
there is also a section called column layout
make sure the column layout is set to Accross, Then Down
click OK

on the report itself, make sure you have the products field in the detail section, and that the width of the report is just a bit wider than the products field. otherwise you will get a message from Access "Some data may not.."

you may have to play with the spacing to get the right look for you.

please note, if you have in your table a Product1 field, Product2 field, etc. aka flat-file database structure, this probably will not work.

hope this helps you.
