Hi;

Is there a way to make micro adjustments (of just a few milimeters, not full line height!) up or down for a report which needs to print out values at exact locations in 34 different boxes on a pre printed forms?
Problem is clients are using different printers at different locations. I tried taking out printer specific info from ???.frx table's tag1 and other fields but it still needs some adjustments.

Thanks.

Robert

Try opening the frx file, looping thru it and changing the value of VPOS by the same amount to move everything up or down.

Since every printer/driver has a different opinion of exactly where the pixels should print, the only way you're going to be consistent is to use a 'generic/text only' font. But, these can only be adjusted a full line.
You may have to develope a sort of layout template that the end user can use to adjust the report themselves.
