report picklist prompt

Hello,
I have a report which uses a report picklist for a prompt (it is a prompt on customers). I can see all of the correct values in the picklist report, but when I run the actual report that uses the picklist, random customers are missing.
I can't figure out why it is in the picklist report, but doesn't show up as an option in the picklist when the main report is run.

Anyone have any idea????

There is a default limit of 100 rows in a report picklist. See faq401-2137 for the section Picklist Size Limit for information on how to change this.

I understand that there is a limit, but the missing fields are in the middle of the picklist report. I would think that the fields that would be cut out would be at the end of the picklist report. Am wrong in thinking this??

Typically, when you create a report picklist, it is filtered to give only distinct occurances of the selected column. This has the effect of also sorting the selections in alphabetical order. If the data you expect is NOT at the end of the list that is truncated in the report using the report picklist, then it looks like you may have either a bug or a local anomaly. Have you tried running the report on a different computer there?

Hello,
I have tried running the report on some different machines. The problem was first noted when utilizing Impromptu web report. I then tried running it locally on my machine and got the same results. I'm not really sure what is happening.
I will investigate more and post any further findings.
