I have a report that expands out to 6.5". I have margins set to 1" on both the right and left, so that gives me up until 6.5" to use for my report. When I open my report from design view (hit the preview button), my report displays decently. When I open it by clicking a button, it displays with a blank page in between each page. I know this can be caused my having controls that are too wide, but I have shrunk down my controls and even put boxes around them so I can see exactly how far they extend. Any ideas on why my database is viewing my report strangely? Thanks!

Striker,

Its possible that your report's width property is set to be too wide, even if the controls on the report have been made to fit a single page. Easiest way to check is to look at the report in design view, and at the right of the report, push the page in until it collides with the rightmost control.
This should minimise your report's width property. Providing the rightmost control fits the confines of the page, you should then avoid the overflow pages.
Hope this helps,
Steve
