Hi, I'm experimenting with Report Packages in Seagate Info 7 MR2. For some reason, I can't view the packages I've created. I can successfully create a package and can see it's individual instances under the appropriate temp folder in the Output directory. When I attempt to view the package in Info Viewer, the individual report instances neverload. What I mean is that the package opens in the view, but all I ever see is the input inhibited hourglass. I never see the actual report instances.

Does anybody have any experience with this type of issue?

Resolved my own issue...

Per the Crystal Decisions document SCR8-CompatibilityIssues.pdf,

"Crystal Reports 8 with Seagate Info 7

•Users will not be able to use the Crystal Reports 8 Crystal Report Viewer
for ActiveX to view Report Packages from a Seagate Info 7.x Info
WebAccess Server.

•Users will not be able to use the Seagate Info HTML Viewer (they will
receive a “File I/O Error”) through Info WebAccess when Crystal Reports 8
and Seagate Info 7.x Info WebAccess Server are installed on the same web
server computer.

•When the Crystal Reports 8 Web Component Server is installed on a
machine on which Seagate Info 7 resides, the Info Viewer will cease to
function correctly.

To resolve this issue, users will need to run the executable CVWAX.EXE,
located in the \Tools\CVWAX directory of the Crystal Reports 8 product CD.
This will launch an install program that will replace the existing Info Viewer
program file (CVWAX32.exe)."

Recently, one of my co-workers installed the Crystal 8 Web Component Server to APS server (Seagate Info 7 MR1, not 2 as stated above - darn fat fingers) for a project. Now I know why my packages aren't working:)
