Hi

I guess that this is a problem caused in some way by the sorting and grouping that I have applied. This report is supposed to print out a cheque and remittance page all on the one page, the top section of this report contains the remittance advice and the lower section prints directly on to a pre-printed cheque template. In the top section a listing of multiple debit records should be grouped together and then output.

This performs correctly when there is only one debit record to be output but when this is increased to more than one the report starts to output to two pages, with the second page a copy of the first but without the embedded picture that is displayed on the first page.

Was wondering whether anyone can shed any light???
Sorry about the long post
cheers

In the grouping and sorting for that level, see how it is grouped. Check the field values for Group On, Group Interval, and Keep together. I only say keep together to make sure it is.
Check that out and see if tweaking the values does it right.

I am still trying to tweak the grouping and sort options but cant seem to find the right combo. Can anybody shed any light on why when the number of sub-report records increases to more than one the main report outputs the same page repeated to the number of times that there are sub report records.

For example if there a 3 sub-report records then the main report will output the first page correctly but then it also outputs a second page with all the same information but without the title image shown in the report header and then this happens again on a third page copy. The number of copy pages that are output appears to correspond with the number of sub-report records.

Cheers
