Report option greys out when viewing details

Hiya all

I've got some reports that contain pie-charts. The problem is when you're viewing the reports over the web, if you click a segment of the pie-chart to bring up the records for that section, the export button (the envelope in the top left corner) greys out so the info cannot be clicked. Is there anyway the export button can be kept active?

As far as I know, you cannot export from a drill-down in the Crystal Viewer. See Knowledge Base Article ID c2007866 dated 2000/09/15:

"It is not yet possible to export a drill down viewer or a subreport from a Web Viewer. This issue has been tracked under Track # SCR22387. There is no announced date when this functionality will be available."

The suggested workaround is to create a separate report with the desired drill down view.
