Hi All, VB6, Crystal 9, Win XP.
I have a VB6 application for collecting and reporting sales data. Initially everybody could log in with Administrator Rights to the PC and the reports would run fine. Recently, I created user accounts so that some can log into XP as Administrators and others as Users. Now, when logged in to XP as Admin, all runs well but when logged in as User, the follwing is reported "c:\xyz\xyz\sales.mdb is not a valid path. make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides." Please help because I dont know what is causing this.

Have you checked the rights the users have to this file? You could log in admin and double check the rights for users. You should also be able to check the effective rights and ownership.

I assume that you run this report on only one PC?

your database itself can also have user and group based security... You should double check this.
