Hello,
We created a report that we would like to export to either a Tab Separated Text (TTX) or Separated Values file (CSV). However we are having problems getting the export report to have the same columns as seen on the screen.
The details are as follows:
1. Our report has 4 main sections
Group Header #1
Details
Group Footer #1a
Group Footer #1b
2. There are formula fields in Group Footer #1b that utilize shared variables that we given values in Group Footer #1a. These formaula fields in GF1b have their own unique columns in the report and are not overlapping with any fields in FG1a.
3. We formatted Group Footer 1a to "Underlay following sections" so that it would be able to have the correct values of the shared variables.
4. Visually the report runs perfectly. All fields in GF1a and GF1b are lined up properly in their correct columns and each report line occupies only one row.
However, we can not get Crystal to export the report rows correctly. Depending on the output format (XLS data only, CSV, TTX, etc.), it either exports the fields in GF1a and GF1b on two or more lines, or places the fields of GF1b at the beginning or end of the fields from GF1a.
Does anyone know how we can resolve this issue?
Regards,
Georges
