Report no longer working!

Using Crystal Reports 8 on an Access97 database to produce form letters. Report worked OK yesterday but on opening now says 'failed to open document' followed by 'read past end of TSLV record' - help!!! (Repair finction in Access does not help!)

Can you open your crystal report without getting this error? Is the error happening when you try to execute the report?

Happens when trying to open the report (File/Open or double clicking on icon in Windows explorer), ie cannot get into design view. Report has a lot of very detailed formatting and I am reluctant to have to start from scratch

It sounds like you have a problem. Whas this report written using version 8?

I had an error message when opening a report a couple of days ago which said:

past end of file

I tried for about an hour to get back into it, but ended up starting the whole report again.

Sorry, this doesn't help much does it.......
