Report Lines Running through bottom of report

I've got a report which typically prints on 2 pages. The first page ends at Report Footer A and in the section properties the "new page after" box is checked.

In Report Footer B I've got a sub report which is what prints on page 2.

I've got vertical lines drawn on the report from the Page Header through to the Report Footer A. The lines go through the subreport, which is OK but go all the way to the bottom of the page of the sub report, which makes the report look weird.

For example one page 1 the lines end at the Report footer which is around mid-page. On the subreport the lines go all the way to the Page Footer.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I'd like the lines on page 2 to end at the bottom of the subreport.

Lines and boxes that traverse multiple sections should really go from a header section to a matching footer section to behave correctly. So your PH to RFa breaks that rule.

Either move the line end to the PF section, or create a group with one member and make the line go from GH1 to GF1 sections.
