Report is not pulling all the data from Notes

I used crystal report to keep client aware of the progression of issues we are working on. One of the fields that I pull from is called "issue report” When I pull information from this field crystal reports is only allowing me to view about 40 characters then it does … dot dot dot. The version of Crystal report is 8.5.0.217

Do you have the latest service pack installed?

Do you have the field set to Can Grow?

What does it show if you select Browse Data?

What does Crystal show the data type as?

When I do Browse data, A box opens and within the box
is a listing of data from the "issue reported" field.
On the very top of the box it give me the title of the field
and below that this says Type: String
Length: 254

I do have the field set to checked so it can grow.
