Report - Indent text field one space 1

I have a report that I have the fields border visible. It looks like a spreadsheet. The text is very close to the left boarder. It would be easier to read if it had one space before the text. I don't want to put a space in my form text box. I was trying to do it on the onformat event of the report. I would appreciate any help.

How about setting the control source of your report's textbox to be =" " & fieldname.

Just be sure you re-name the textbox to something other than fieldname or you'll have a circular reference error. Maq B-)

I got if fixed by using a IIf statement and Chr$(32). It Works! I was going to reply and read your reply. You are exactly correct about renaming the text box on the report. That is what I finally figured out. Thank You
