Report in Upfront is empty but imr returns rows

Hi,

I have a report that has been published to Upfront and returns empty when run. When running the imr using the catalog in the published report folder from Impromptu, the report returns multiple rows.

Why are the result sets different? There definitely is data that should be returned. How can the report in Upfront be fixed?

Have you gone thru the Application logs from the system event viewer? If you encounter db errors, they are typically trapped there, vs. being returned to the upfront interface.

For the fun of it, launch impserver.exe from your server (cer3\bin)and run the report. Is this blank? Sometimes there are errors that are generated which are not transferred back to the user.

Finally, is the issue restricted to this one report? Or to all from catalog? If all, check to see where your catalog is directed.
