Report Header with running total

I have a running total calculating the number of days a unit is held. At the end of the report, Report Footer, I have the GRAND total for the report.
Unit# Days Held
111 2
112 1
113 4
Grand: 7

Is there a way to take the GRAND total and put it in the Report HEADER? It's for user viewing.

I tried the 3 formula approach and the running total works,calculates the correct total, but the display always comes up 0 in the report header.

Any ideas?

Just create a regular grand total sum if you can(not a running total). Running totals are exactly that, since it hasn't "run" through any records in the header.. it will always be 0.

If you can't get the number w/o a running total, and you have to display it in the report header, consider using a subreport to calculate and display the running total.
