I have written a monthly report with Employee and Week groupings and totals. In the OnPrint event of the Employee Footer I accumulate totals for Department against Pay Rate in module defined variables. The report runs to about 50 pages for 20 employees.
The Report Footer layout contains 20 rows of 9 columns of Unbound Text Boxes ready to hold descriptions and totals. Within the OnPrint event of the Report Footer I lay out the required data according to the number of rows and columns containing non-zero totals; this entails hiding and moving/resizing some of the Text Boxes. Row and column totals previously accumulated are printed in the right hand column and in the row immediately below the final non-zero row (usually about 14 rows).
The report is produced in Preview mode and may be viewed before printing or immediately printed using the print icon. On some occasions the values will be doubled (or possibly other values), recreating the report will usually result in correct values being produced. Attempts to recreate the error situation are always a failure. I have been unable to determine the exact situations when totals are incorrect.
I hope I have provided a clear description of the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
