When I try to copy/export a report from Access 2000 to Word 2000, the report header is not copied.
Does anybody know why this happens and if so is there a solution to this.
Thanks

Yeah, it goes out as an RTF file. If you Export to HTML, it'll look pretty much the same. You lose all the formatting.

You're probably better off automating to word and dynamically creating a dicument through VBA on the fly.

Thanks for the reply.
I will try the HTML route. The students have to be able to copy a report from Access to Word.
The people I teach are not up to automating and VBA. Its not part of the course.
Is the problem a bug in Access?
I will let you know if it satisfies my requirements.
Once again, many thanks

I have tried the HTML route and it still does not bring over the Report Header.
Are there any options that tells Access to export the Report Header I wonder?
