I have got a report header which appears on a blank sheet on my report after it already has appeared listing the information i want. Is there anyway to stop this appearing as im wasting an awful lot of paper when it comes to print out my report.

thanks in advance

when you say on a blank sheet, do you mean on the sheet immediately after the front sheet?
in which case, you've probably got the report headder too long, so it goes over 1 page, and goes onto the 2nd page.

Anything in the report headder will only be displayed once, right at the beginning of the report, the only thing that can come in front of it is a page headder.

i have the following headers on the report. report header, page header , appellation header & Designation header.

the appellation header appears on a blank sheet of paper after the main body of information has appeared.

I hope this makes more sense

thanks in advance

so you are saying that your report headder is appearing once, at the front of the report, and then it's appearing again after the appellation headder?

the report header appears once and i have set the other headers to yes for the repeat section on the report.

the blank sheet is appearing after the report has detailed out what i want with the other headers on. how can this be??

have you checked the settings for new page before/after?

if you have new page after one headder, and new page before the next headder, then that'll create blank sheets
