I have a form "Form2", when I open it and enter the criteria, click the Preview button, the report opens.

I get the correct data.

Now, I put a button on a Main form to open Form2. I enter my criteria, click the Preview button, and the report has no data. Yet when I check the report filters, they are there.

This is so different from Access 2000. I am using 2007. I am afraid to put the new fancy stuff in because the application is for users who only have Access 2000.

Okay now when I close my form I get some "dirty" message. What is going on? The help is so totally useless this time around for me.

frustrated.

Oh I figured out the "dirty" message.

And, my help comment was referring to Access help, not Tek Tips. I think you people are a great help!

Thanks.

Have you used me.requery to update the recordsource, or maybe me.refresh to refresh the screen?

"Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted."

I'm not sure where I would put that?

It worked last time I tried it though, so we'll see.

thanks

The click event of your button comes to mind. Have you bothered to peruse the Access help topics and Tek-Tip FAQs that deal with this?

Yes. I've looked everywhere. I did get my report to work from the other forms but now it's just now working when the selection is "*" for all records. I'll figure it out for now.

thanks
