I am trying to produce the results of two tables in a report. Because some data is only in table one, it leaves unwanted spaces when producing the child table data.

Barcode Number Perons Name Persons Department

Item from child Table
Item from child Table
Item from child Table
Item from child Table

Barcode Number Perons Name Persons Department

Item from child Table
Item from child Table
Item from child Table
Item from child Table

How do I repoduce that?, where the Barcode Number line is from the parent table, the others from child tables.

Many thanks

Set the report's recordsource to a query that is combined result of both the tables. then a group by "Barcode number".

Or you can create two reports from both tables and insert one into other as you with form-subform.
