I am using Crystal XI and pulling my data using ODBC driver from an oracle db. I am currently trying to compile a report that shows capacity of elements. The challenge is that I can't get the report to summarize correctly.
Current report progression
Site Name
Category (Breakout of Site name) could be many categories
Total Elements of Category - number of elements
Total Assigned Elements of Category - Assigned
Percent in use - % of elements (Calc based on above)
I want to show each site name and display all categories of that site with a breakdown of elements per site. Then would like a total at end of report of all elements and assigned elements. Break on site name and then break on Category)
Desired Output-
Site Name - list once
List all relative information per category (Total Elements, Assigned Elements, Elements in use) Single line
Then summary at end totaling all above categories for all sites.
The report I built now shows the all detail but the total elements, assigned elements, and percent in use is the same number for each. Example (Total for all = 100,000, in use = 90,000, percent in use = 90%)
I hope this all makes sense but let me know if additional information is required. Thanks for any help.
