Hi,
I have a report that is grouped by people's names; the report also has a text box with the people's name as the control source.
Is it possible to send just the section of the report based on the name grouping or name text box via email?
I know how to send the whole report via email but I only want the recipient to get their "section" of the report.

If you're always going to be e-mailing all the people at once, make a routine that creates a recordset of all the people in the report, changes the filter of the report, and e-mails each person.

If you're going to want to be able to e-mail just one person at a time, make a form with a combo box that displays the list of poeple who would show up in the report and a button that changes the filter of the report and then mails to just that person.

I'd say it's probably worth your time to set it up both ways, so that you can do either one. To do this, just make a routine that mails the report and call that from each of the other routines.

I should have mentioned, I want this to be automated so I don't have to filter from a form.
In other words, the report is emailed using SendObject but the recipients will only get the portion of the report whose grouping matches their name.

Hope that clarifies.

THANKS!
