Report from Sharepoint(2007) list using VS 2008

I have gotten as far as creating a service (web service) link to the site ... I have used this service in creating a datasource.
I have put some fields on the report ... but NOTHING

Anybody done this before?
Any links / tips to share?

I was standing in the park, wondering why frisbees got bigger as they came closer... then it hit me!
