I downloaded the Shredder on a friend's recommandation, ran it, asking only for a report. Since this is all new to me and I haven't noticed any problems with my system or browser, I'm not sure if I should run the 'Fix' based on the report. Can someone give me advice. I hardly ever use IE except to check for Windows updates. Here is the report:

I had a problem with one of those CoolSearch & SearchFor spywares on my PC. I used Shredder to remove it, without any problem.

Clicking fix would not harm our PC. The report shows no infection by a CWS but the entry in the typed URL list will be cleared.
