I am using Crystal 10.0. I have a report with calculations to compute a rate with variables in the report Footer. This is the only data on the report the users want to see. I have suppressed the details of the report as well as all of the group headers and footers except one of group headers that contains a subreport. I have suppressed the detail of the subreport so when it comes across there is nothing there. The problem is that I still get 14 pages of nothing followed by the last page with the data that the users want. Is there anyway to get this to the first page? I have tried supressing the group the subreport is in but then the calculations no longer work. Any advice would be appreciated - THanks

Make sure all sections within the subreport are suppressed. Then select the subreport->format subreport->subreport tab->check "suppress blank subreport". Then in the section expert select the section the subreport is in and check "suppress blank section".

If I suppress the section or the blank subreport the formulas no longer work in the report footer. Any other ideas?

I wasn't suggesting suppressing the section that the subreport is in. WITHIN the subreport, make sure all sections are suppressed. In the main report, you need to format the subreport->suppress blank subreport and also to go to the section expert->section the subreport is in and check "Suppress blank section".
