Report Field Truncates Data

I have a field in a report that I've created that corresponds to a "Description" field in a table. The field property is set to Memo and there can be quite a bit in these fields.

The problem I am having is that even though I have the "Can Grow" property of my report field set to Yes, the data is still truncating.

Is there something else I can do to ensure that the field will not truncate?

I suppose I should also mention that I am using this code to draw borders:

And that even if I open the report and extend the description field, it looks like it is truncating at 255 characters.

Does the field get truncated in the query?
Does the report section allow growing?
Is there anything in the Format property of the control?
Is the text box in the detail section of the report?
