Hi,

We use Actuate 7.

For the past few days some reports are failing with the error "cannot start new server".

I know the answer is something simple but its been a while since ive seen the error, any help would be appreciated.

Sussed it, I had an inkling that the issue was to do with the iServer having problems with the requests at the time.

After discussing it with a colleague thats what it is basically. Our batch schedule was running behind and there were too many requests at that time. Therefor there was not enough resources (memory etc) for the report to run.
