Report fails when exported in pdf

We have Crystal XI on windows within a java application running on weblogic against an Oracle database. The report runs fine when the results are displayed within the viewer, however when we are trying to export it pdf its rerunning it or its failing if records are more.
Any help will be appreciated

If records are more than what? And saying it's failing needs to be accompanied by the error being produced, if you're a coder you should understand that this very basic information needs to be shared.

If it's rerunning, that's probably the result of your code, Crystal doesn't execute the report again to export a file.
